Workplace Health
Helping organisations respond to menstrual health with confidence, clarity and practical support
Menstrual health is no longer a niche issue
It’s a growing priority - socially, culturally and politically
But most organisations still don’t have the policy, confidence or education to respond properly
The UK now has a formal workplace standard for menstruation, menstrual health and menopause.
So the question is no longer whether employers should address it, but rather - how they do it.
Menstrual health is relevant to 51% of the population.
Roughly 13 million people are currently going through perimenopause or menopause, Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and 69% of people say that menstruation symptoms negatively affect them at work.
Yet, only 11% of UK employers have a dedicated menstrual health policy, 67% said no support is available, and only 16% of HR professionals say managers are equipped to support menstrual health issues at work.
When menstrual health is ignored, the impact does not disappear, it shows up elsewhere:
sickness absence
lower engagement
reduced confidence
avoidable discomfort and silence
managers feeling unequipped
talented people trying to cope in systems that do not support how their bodies actually work
Menstrual health is essential to workplace wellbeing, inclusion and sustainable participation
What I deliver
I offer two strands of support for organisations looking to respond to menstrual health more confidently and practically: training and consultation.
Together, they help organisations build understanding, strengthen internal confidence, and turn growing awareness of menstrual health into meaningful workplace support.
-
Practical, inclusive training designed to build understanding, reduce stigma, and help organisations support staff more effectively.
This can include:
all-staff awareness sessions
employee network sessions
manager, HR or EDI training
half-day or full-day workshops
Training can cover:
menstrual cycle and hormone education
common conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, PMS and PMDD
the impact of symptoms on energy, focus, confidence and performance
burnout, stress and nervous system awareness
inclusive approaches, including trans and non-binary awareness
practical ways individuals, managers and teams can respond
-
Practical support for organisations wanting to move from awareness into action.
This can include:
reviewing where your organisation is now
identifying gaps in confidence, culture or support
practical workplace adjustments
guidance on how menstrual health can sit within existing policies and practice
support for HR, EDI or internal champions
shaping realistic next steps in line with the direction of travel set by BS 30416
This work is designed to help organisations move beyond one-off awareness and build more informed, inclusive and sustainable support over time.

About Me
I’m a Certified Menstrual Practitioner, wellbeing consultant and EDI trainer working at the intersection of health, systems and culture.
With over 13 years’ experience across the charity, education and public sectors, I bring a combination of environmental psychology, community practice and holistic health into my work.
I’ve delivered training and workshops for organisations including national charities, community groups and education providers, and I specialise in making complex, often overlooked areas of health accessible, inclusive and practical.
My work is grounded, evidence-based and trauma informed. I bring lived experience to my work as somebody with Stage 4 Endometriosis and my practice prioritises intersectionality and affirmative approaches.
I support organisations to engage with menstrual health not as a niche issue, but as a vital part of wellbeing, equity and sustainable participation.
